Renters Insurance (HO-4)
Renters Insurance provides coverage for both the Insured’s personal property and for liability that may result from an accident in the Insured’s home.
Personal Property is generally defined as electronics, furniture, and clothing. This insurance is offered on a replacement cost basis which means that the Insurer will pay out the necessary funds to purchase a new item that is of like kind and quality, instead adjusting for depreciation. In addition, the policy contains liability coverage which provides protection should someone get injured in the Insured’s apartment or if an appliance in the apartment leaks and causes damage to an adjacent unit.
KDB Brokerage Services LLC charges a one-time broker fee of $125.00 per policy for all new Property and Commercial clients.
